Hamiku and her Protector, Nithira, have been travelling for days and have seen nothing but death and destruction.  Bodies were strewn everywhere: in the road, in windows, and even on rooftops.  Most of them were burned and/or dismembered.
Crunch. Hamiku stepped on a severed hand for the seventh time.  She looked down and sighed.
"I don't think I've ever seen so much death in my entire life," she complained as she broke into a run, trying her damnedest to get away from the sights and smells of burned and rotting flesh.  They were endless!

Who lost everyone they care about just now? Azerah wondered as the sound of an explosion pierced the still evening air.  She was alone in the only longhouse left in the once proud Onondaga Nation of the Iroquois.  Her entire family and all of her friends were killed in the most horrific war that they had ever seen or heard of and they weren't even fighting in it.  So had almost everyone in the area.  There was not a soul in sight except for a wolf that kept appearing in the night.

Hey everyone!

Wow, it's been a while since I've updated this thing. What, seven or eight months now? Geesh.

~sigh~I can't believe it's the last year of school now. Some old friends of mine have already graduated and moved on. In a little while, TT, MDA, GD13, and I will be joining them. Well, might as well make the best out of it, right?

I decided to get back here because of an English assignment. TT and I, along with the rest of our English class, have to do these things called writers' notebooks. In ours, we did stories. We then decided to take off and run with them for a little while, even though our teacher had to put the writers' notebooks on hiatus due to a stupid research project! Yeah, we had to research the career that we want to get into and do a 3-5 page paper on it. The problems for TT and me were that a) We hate research projects and b) We had to pretend like we didn't know much about our careers. We could have easily done these things in our sleep, but no, we had to spend a flippin' month and a half on the dang things! As I'm sure you can tell, we were mad. Now that the project's finished, we can go back to writing in our notebooks and sharing what we wrote.

Getting back to what I was saying about the stories before I went off on a rant, I'm writing The New Genesis and TT is writing Gray Blood. I'm trying to learn from her so that I can improve my writing style, so bear with me here. Well, that's about it, I think. Talk to you soon!
